this has never ever worked for me. It doesn't ever transcribe the messages nor can it most of the time even tell me where the number is calling from. I get no notifications even though they're turned on and there's no way for me to find the saved messages because it will not save them, and there's no way for me to find archived or deleted messages etc or any other of my data or past messages. I only get notified after a month or so of them coming in so it's pointless!
This used to work fine for me until a few months ago. Now, it just doesn't work. It pulls over maybe one out of every hundred messages. I'm forced to to go through the ATT voicemail, pressing 1, listening to the robotic voice reading out the number, date and time called, in excruciating slowness when I could previously tell all that as well as spam by looking at the visual voicemail dashboard. Fix This!!!!!!!!!!!!
This stopped working 6/9/26. It's never worked quite right, but when I had a message I could refresh and get the message, sometimes it would transcribe and sometimes wasn't able to, but now it won't do anything. I'm wondering if maybe ATT changed their voicemail number and the app doesn't recognize it?
After several attempts and over two hours of the spinning ball and "Setting up your account" message, I gave up. Yet another example that ATT really doesn't care in the least if their stuff actually works. It really is amazing. One year later: still can't get it to do something basic as setup, so I have no idea about the features. What an incredible waste of time. This should be removed from the store. Edit: 18 months later, still doesn't work, still doesn't give an error message why.
When this works well, it's pretty nice. Lately however, it often tells me my SIM card has changed (when it hasn't) and forces me to basically reset it. Then, it often refuses to let me set it up again right away. Edit: It seems to be getting worse. Now I no longer have to sign in constantly, but the app often freezes up when loading a voicemail.
