This app is ridiculous & not good. I tried logging in, and it sometimes let me log in to check my schedule and more, but at times, it'll log me back out. Whenever I try logging back into the app, it'll keep kicking me out and having me log in multiple sessions before the app will let me through. This shouldn't be an issue. Walmart makes billions of dollars every year but can't fix their damn app for their employees. Why have a system to clock in & out that doesn't work properly?! FIX IT!
I physically cringe when I have to open this app on my personal device. there is actual malware less intrusive, buggy, and unoptimized than this. This shouldn't be a problem since we also have company provided devices. However once you open the camera to scan something it will keep running until you close the entire app. Allowing it to suck your battery dry in just a few hours. You can feel the phone heating up in your pocket like a damn hand warmer if you leave the app open. it is a total joke
It fails to keep me logged in, it fails to recognize when I'm in the store I work at, it's even told me I couldn't clock in because I wasn't scheduled despite showing my shift starting in less than ten minutes, it's slow, and you can't do half the simple tasks without going through a slow and poor AI tool. I've installed some bad apps in my day, but this may be the worst one yet. And I can't get rid of it because it's expected for me to do my job.
There should be a feature for letting others know that you are available to cover a shift. You can put in that you'd like to have your shift covered or swapped, but there is no way to let others know that you'd like to pick up hours. The app also takes too long to load. It keeps asking for permission for calls. And it won't con̈nect to WiFi even in the middle of the store.
The app works but there is a lot of pain points when using it. Like others have said the app is a significant battery drain for no reason, for example when not using the phone but having the app running in the background it can use anywhere from 10-30% of my battery an hour. A part of the battery problem I think comes from the app's use of the phone's camera with the app often not giving up control of the camera after using it to scan something.
