I did not see a free option of 10 pages, the basics you will pay for and you do need some type of credit card. Even though their pop up response on rate this app says it does offer free trial for 10 pages it's not there. Since I had a deadline it was close to midnight I paid for it and will cancel once I get they received it. It did give a confirmation email saying it was sent. Update: it not there either, have to go under my info. then my credit, view plans it shows free with no option to send
I like the Fax.Plus app. However, I wish it would allow sending a fax by entering only the fax number. After preparing the cover page and documents, if I enter a number without a contact name, the app asks me to add a contact. Sometimes I don’t want to save or display a personal name. Please allow users to send faxes with just the number. I'm going to get a app updated now to see what changes.
While the description states you get to fax for free, you only get a handful or two of pages. I was disappointed about this misrepresentation of what is actually offered as "free", but I can honestly say that I caved and ended up paying as they appeared to be cheaper and much more secure than other fax apps I had browsed. I like that you can choose a set number of pages to purchase rather than having a monthly membership, as I only send maybe 6 pages max a month.
I did not realize there were only 10 pages free and then you had to pay to fax any more! When I installed the App, I used it right away. I did not see any verbiage about only getting 10 pages free to fax. Program itself is ok to use, can add a cover page to go with the file you want to fax. I do not want any monthly/yearly fee or any of my banking/PayPal info used for the App. Too much overcharging and no refund. I might pay a $5.99 one time fee only but no more.
I signed up for a free trial, 10 pages total, and sent one fax (two pages) on December 25. Today, I tried to send another fax (also two pages) when my partner could see, to confirm we want to buy it. Today's fax wouldn't send; it said we have insufficient credit. But, the free trial says it's supposed to include 10 pages total. We don't want to buy into something that appears to promise something specific, even something as simple as 10 free pages of faxes, and then doesn't deliver that thing.
