The maps are terrible. The upcoming direction box is huge, but font small, You can't see anything but a straight line on the screen 90% of the time, and by time a turn is displayed, its already in progress, if you haven't missed it. The vocal command prompts are annoying; I don't need to keep being told to join the highway, where else am I gonna go? The no-truck symbol should be on the no-truck streets, not the intersection.
July 5 1024. So now we have to take selfies 3 - 4 times during the work day. We have to ALWAYS have our location on for them. ALWAYS. Now the app glitches out on me from time to time. Sometimes when I am at a facility attaching to a trailer the app will say that the trailer is in a different location. When I try to hit the button to edit the details, it does nothing. It will stay stuck on that screen until you get to your next stop. Then, you will get a performance hit for not using the app. Smh
The only thing I like about this app is I don't have to get out of my truck at stops to check in. Other than that, this app is required to be on location at all times which is intrusive, needs my personal Amazon account info to sign in which is intrusive, does not give notification or does anything to let you know when I get a load or more importantly, when changes are made to routes which in that case I wouldn't know either unless I looked or my dispatch tells me. The navigation is garbage..etc
It's ok, the issues it has is someone the route it takes you goes through residential areas as a truck driver we are not allowed to go through there. The app needs a major overhaul meaning it's needs to be redone cause there are tons of glitches that need to be fixed. Speed is way off, when your going 55 mph it reads 107 mph, check ins and outs don't always show up, if you are showing you are arriving more that 30 mins it updates and your not able to get fuel if needed.
The app is OK. The GPS navigates you the longer routes though. The ETA usually isnt accurate. We get dinged for not being on time when we have delays beyond our control . The app should be updated to account for delays when were waiting for other trucks to load/unload at amazon facility and post offices, etc. We definitely shouldnt be held accountable for things beyond our control.
