Works about 5% of the time. I REALLY wish it did, but it rarely stays connected. If it does stay connected then you freeze on the map or either your messages/ride ons never actually send or work. You can't use your power ups or anything. Don't even bother with it and just enjoy the riding. I think they would rather you pay real money for the controllers or their bike unfortunately. Zwift doesn't care about their customers or this would be fixed ASAP. Instead its been an ongoing issue.

Good, but needs a few kinks ironed out. The "Stop" button is just not registering. At first, I thought maybe my hand was too sweaty but, even after toweling everything off, it still won't register. The other functions do. To stop a ride though, I have to dismount an do it from my computer (of fumble with my wireless keyboard). Hopefully, will be fixed soon. The other "Would like to have" would be to select and start a ride from the companion app.

In general, it's pretty good, and I've used it for several years without problems. Today, not so much. I am run Zwift on a Lenovo Vantage tablet. The Zwift app works fine. I run Companion on a Google Pixel 9a phone. The phone was fully updated today, both system and apps. When I ran Companion, it seemed to start up fine, switched to the map, and showed me on it, and immediately put up a "Something went wrong" message, and exited. Rebooted the phone, tried Companion and again it quit on me.

Very frustrating, and mostly useless. When you're ready to go for a run you want software that just works, This is not that. Expect to waste a lot of time, nearly every run, trying to get this to work, and usually failing to get it to work. Been using this app (at least trying to) for a few weeks now. I've tried to use it for several runs, but it works less than 1/2 the time. I use the Zwift RunPod so expect there should be absolutely no problem between this app and the pod. Nonetheless, the app fails to connect to the RunPod most of the time. Many times it says it's connected, but doesn't pick up anything no matter how fast/slow you run - I consider this not connected too. Restarting the app, restarting the game, rebooting the phone, nothing works. I use the MilestonePod app too, so I know the Pod is working. I've been able to download run data after every run with it. It''s the Zwift app that is no good. Every time they update this app, it stops working. It's as if these people have never heard of QA testing a release before pushing it out. Sad that they don't actually give a damn about their users.

Great app. My only gripe is that it can be hit or miss whether the app actually connects to the in game experience and having the in-game controls. For example, Zwift is running on a computer and opening the companion app (on starting the ride) does not switch over to in-game controls so you lose the ability to interact with other riders. The only workaround is to find another device (iPad) and open the companion from there.
