The app mostly does what I expect. It shows the status of the lock and the position of the door (open, closed, etc.). It lets me lock and unlock the door. It tells me when someone else has unlocked/opened the door. It alerts me if the door has been left open. It's slow to connect when I open the app. They fixed the problems related to not showing the status of the batteries.

shouldn't have to calibrate every month. or every time you change the batteries. I can see once a year but this is ridiculous. then it says the module is not communicating with the door lock when I know it is because it's communicating on my Wi-Fi. come on now it's too Dang hot for this!!!?? My bedroom has an older yale lock (not touch screen but still uses the app) and it never needs to be calibrated.

I am a long time yale owner and just 'upgraded' to a new lock. this is the worst system. I continually receive errors when setting pin codes. I can't connect it to Google. I'm unfortunately past the 30 day return timing otherwise I would send it back. I wish I had seen all the issues folks have had for the last two years that haven't been fixed. buyer beware.

after u figure it out it's great!!! but, (at least to me)... the directions don't go 1,2,3 they are more like 1,6,3,9,2.. so u have to skip around between the booklet that's in the box and the app to figure things out and I know my app was kinda slow at first so I'd do something and it would say it wasn't working but then the next morning I'd wake up and it would be like .. installed .... next step..... now that it is all done and all installed, it's amazing!!!!

our lock stopped working after 12 months. Support tried to help, but after multiple resets and factory resets, the lock still won't connect, so it's been completely useless outside of a normal lock for 4 months now. Yale won't offer any additional support or exchange any hardware with us. the batteries also need to be changed frequently. overall a poor experience and waste of money
