It’s a good option for getting clients, but they don’t have a direct customer service number 📱; everything is handled via chat, and resolutions are very slow 😪. There was one instance where a client modified her booking while she was actually at my house—reducing the hours and the payment I received—and Swimply did nothing 😪. They could have at least blocked her account, but they did nothing at all.

The concept is great, and the experience with the hosts we booked with was fine. The app flow and transparency of pricing leaves a lot to be desired. I purchased a summer pass and I'm unclear on its value. The app offers you add ons during booking (dogs, grill usage, etc) and then, the day before your booking it will offer these add ons again. There are redundancies there (like being offered both a BBQ and a grill) that you can accidentally pay twice for, and it's hard to track that down. Sketch

Avoid - Bait and Switch They advertise pools available with filtered options, but after I signed up for the membership, I visited one pool and then that host stopped hosting and several other listings for pools were blocked until late fall or winter. Despite no pools available within a full two hour drive from me during the summer (I didn't check further out) they refused to offer a refund. Don't waste your money.

As an experienced Host I can only say this app is well structured but complicated. And this years version has a bunch of new stuff! They forgot the Simple part in their name. I'm on this app way too much. What it needs is the ubiquitous search area; e.g. Search for 'Pets'. Instead I'm still looking for that important field so I can change it to "No Pets in Pool.... Too hairy!"

The service was terrible. They refused to issue a proper refund and only offered app credits instead of returning my money to my original payment method. The app experience was very disappointing and disorganized. The listing clearly stated that pets were allowed, and my booking was confirmed with 1 dog. However, after the booking was confirmed, the host said dogs were not allowed in the pool, which is misleading and not what was advertised.
