Looks like a nice basic calculator. Uninstalled. I would keep using it if one thing was different. When adding a long string of numbers, only the recent two numbers shows, making it hard to check that my typing the numbers is accurate. There is a history, but that displays a long string of addition as multiple equations, should be all one equation.
Bought this App months ago, only to find you can't paste into it. Made them aware of the frustration as it prevents large digit number calculations. If you have a very long number, with more digits than you can remember, that you wish to use in a calculation you need to be able to Paste it into the calculation field. The App doesn't allow it. Can not wait any longer for this simple need to be available, forcing having to use a different App for long numbers, so am reluctantly uninstalling it.
Like the app. A few things that I'd prefer: 1. When doing calculations with a long string of equations, it doesn't do it like a scientific calculator (ie. x and % first) but instead doing it as you key in each problem. Would be great to have that as an option instead to have to manually separate those calculations on our own. 2. I saw the devs replied to someone else that one can change the colour, but that's for paid app only i think. Free a few colours would be nice.
Website claims "simple, open source Android apps without ads and unnecessary permissions" but now a calculator needs network access, to view network connections, and ad permission. Seems developer sold out. Edit: I didn't skip terms. I had this app installed for years and even donated with Simple Thank You. Terms were changed secretly. Even the images in app listing say no ads.
It's probably not an offline app. It starts very slowly: does it search the net?; does it want the premium version? (you didn't convince me to buy it!) And after that everything runs very slowly. I expected it to be a simple calculator, like the office one, as its name suggests. But I was wrong, much slower and worse.
