I recently activated service and the app was working fine. For nearly a week now, the app loads up to the splash screen and just continues to load. I can't get to anything in the app anymore. I've cleared cache, data, uninstalled and reinstalled and even restarted my phone several times. Nothing is getting me back in. I'm paying for a service now I can't even use.
App still does not have the option for the digital key for a Laramie level 2 that I paid for. Late availability means end of model year. It has been more than a year and the 2025 is no longer produced. This isn't late availibility, it is blatently false advertising for a feature I paid for. If the money I paid for the truck was a late availability, I am sure Ram would have an issue with that.
I have a Ram Promaster 2500 and this app is basically useless for it. I don't have the ability to find my vehicle, start it, or anything really useful. It doesn't show the fuel level and only shows some very basic diagnostics. The digital glovebox is just your user manual in digital format. I honestly don't even open this app because every time I do, it is disappointing. Meanwhile, my husband, who has a Ford Edge can use his app to locate his vehicle, to start his vehicle, see how much fuel, etc
Two words: false advertising. I'm seriously thinking of forming a class action lawsuit against Stellantis for false advertising. My truck was advertised as having a digital key. You can even find tutorial videos on how to use it. The problem is the digital key feature is nowhere to be found in the app. Get it right or compensate us one way or another.
Original post: The Ram app on my Android device attempts to open and then crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled this application several times and it will work for a short period of time and then starts crashing again. very frustrating. Update: Ram addressed my complaint in a timely manner and kept me informed of progress. at this time the Ram app is functioning as intended. changing from 2 stars to 5.
