It keeps signing me out anytime I leave the app. Even if I click to remember me, it doesn't. It's ridiculous that search by 'nearest' isn't a filter you can use if you put Any distance. I don't want to go through 15 pages of pets 1k miles away to find one that's only 200m because the distance caps at 100m. It also lags and shows the same pet 10x. Shelters should also have to verify every 30 days if the pet is still available. So many are gone but still listed on the app from months later.
Sometimes, the app just randomly has errors, which sucks. It's mostly a decent app with the necessary features to find pets, but I wish there were more flexibility in defining the distance. I also wish there were a way to EXCLUDE out-of-country pets, particularly those in Canada (as I'm in W state, near the border).
I used to LOVE the app but... now they are adding pets from thousands of miles away and the only way to not see them is to go on line. Don't bother with the app just look on line. I want to meet the pet before I bring it home!! make sure it likes my family and my other pets!! I also don't want to pay extra for pet transport
**Edit: LOVE the typical corporate response- "Thank you for your feedback. We're not going to change anything."** Complete and total trash. Can't save searches, no history, constantly tries to get you to create a Purina account. One more example of a garbage corporation taking over a good thing and just using it for advertising and data harvesting. Not the least bit surprising from Nestle, the corporation that doesn't think you even have a right to water.
I've never used an app before that actively fights against you, but I guess there's a first time for everything. It's tough to log in initially because the app blocks your sign-in attempts, even after verifying that "Yes, I am the account holder". You can't search for pets, because the app crashes every time. You can't follow any links to the app, because the app either crashes or ignores the link altogether. You can view the Home screen, your Favorites, and your Account - that's about it.
