This is no longer an app that allows you to play games or watch ads to get entries. They just want you to pay for a membership. Neither pch+ nor the pch app allow you to play to enter. I just get emails stating that I can enter for free, but when I click on the link to enter for free it takes me back to another page asking me to select a paid version from the list of price plans for entries. PCH is basically gone. This is a company that wants you to pay for entries. I will be deleting both apps.
It truly sucks BIG TIME. If I could give it a negative rating, I would. I've played these games daily for a couple years and had fun. Now, everything is "maintenance", freezes so I can't proceed, won't allow me to use points. I realize something "big is going to happen" but I'm through. I really never want to interact with PCH again. They are NOW a lot of promises and only broken or incomplete links and games. It's a total waste of time and VERY FRUSTRATING.
I think the app has been discontinued. It's been down since May 1st. You can't enter to win the grand prize without paying anymore. They've switched to a pay to play format. You have to pay for a membership or purchase items from their shopping website. I'm very sad to see them take this direction. After playing for 4 years I'll be uninstalling all my pch apps after the big update I May.
How many more days will the app be down for maintenance? I've been playing for years, never had this problem before. My phone is not the problem. Even cleared the cache and data, uninstalled, restarted phone, reinstalled app, same problem. Maybe I will just stop playing and spend my free time more productively. Definitely a problem on PCH's end. If enough people stop playing, maybe they will get a clue and fix it. Moving on...
This app lets me play a few games, and then leaves, puts me back to the regular phone screen. Also, Dinosaur Island lets you get tokens but not sweepstakes entries. I tried to contact the customer assistance, but they say I have to write a ticket. Get a response only to find out that they no longer assist, and I have to write a ticket for the right department to receive it. I did three tickets, and get the same response. I've also did all tasks to fix the issue on my phone. No changes.
