I purchased a 2025 CT5V and got the app soon as it came in. App seems spotty some times when it comes to remote start. Ill have to try two or three times before it actually works. I do wish it would show you if the car is locked or not. The setup for online maintenance doesnt work not sure if its the app or the dealership I go to but I have to call to make an appointment always says there is no dates. Overall my experience has been good. Waited about a year to give a fair review of the app.
Not good for charging. The app is okay for setting your climate control although I would say 25% of the time when I open it, it crashes and you have to force close it and reopen it. the bigger issue is the charging is not reliable. I found myself stranded unable to charge my vehicle. The app said connected but charger is not supplying power. luckily someone helped me and was able to get my car charged with their app. Clearly it was a Cadillac issue not the Tesla supercharger.
The app doesn't even let me log in any longer with my new V-Series. The MyChevrolet was similar in that you'd be forced to log back into the app, confirm your email, and then it would allow you to log in. Just enough time to walk to your vehicle. Mine are free, but others should save their money and avoid this nonsense.
The app has come a long way since I started leasing my car in Oct 24 and I find it to be fairly reliable and easy to use. It's just missing a few features that could make it a solid 5 in my opinion- home screen widgets, bring back the vehicle update history/notifications when new updates are available, and show us the locked/unlocked status. other than that, does what it needs to do in a fairly quick and painless manner.
Useless. We pay a monthly service for this app and it hardly ever works. No mention of any updates (assuming that is why it's not working)and when you truly need it..pre-start your car in cold weather, tracking your vehicle etc. It never works! Would not complain if it was still free, but since you want to charge..upgrade the experience. Thank you.
