Great if you don't have a specific food intolerance. I don't know if I picked a bad week to try it out but most of the dishes contained squash/zucchini. I used to love squash but unfortunately, it doesn't love me and there isn't a way to sort that out so the ease of use gets haulted when I have to click every option to see if it contains something I have a bad reaction too and actually makes the app or the site more of a hassle. I'm definitely a small minority of user base so 3 stars seems fair
I get the already made microwave meals & they are so very delicious!! They have various dishes that chefs perfectly make. I was worried that they were going to be the usual microwave small meals that are more like snacks than an meal but I was pleasantly relieved that they're actual fullfilling meals that taste incredible! I do the salt & pepper thing for my own taste buds but otherwise the seasoning is on point!! I highly recommend Home Chef / Tempo food delivery. 10/10 will continue to order.
Avoid at all costs. App seems comparable to online, however the service is HORRIBLE. It's really a shame because the meals are good ... when you get them. Most of my orders were delivered with spoiled food, delivered to the wrong address, missing ingredients wrong meals... Just problem after problem. They have major QC issues. I canceled after 4 boxes, didn't even bother to finish the promotion period. Customer service just wants to credit the account, repeatedly not offer a refund.
App only good for ordering and editing orders. If you're missing a recipe card you can't print from the app (like you can from all their competitors). AND when you use AI chat, it tells you to print fro. the app. AND the app asks you for feedback but when you type info in the box, there is no send button. Must have been designed by AI Smh LOL
Good recipes but implementation is AWFUL. Multiple recipes subbing out the main ingredient, unlabled bags of precooked food, and worst of all, multiple products where the bags were not even fully sealed. There is nothing worse than searching through a bag to find out "what is this mystery liquid". NO EXPIRATION DATES NO NOTHING and tricks you into a subscription total scam.
