I thought this app would allow for more interaction with models and allow for more seamless collaboration, but as others have noted, you can only turn off/on components visible when last saved in the desktop program. Also logging into the app is nearly impossible without a second device and despite clicking "stay logged in" and "trust this browser for 30 days" it still logs out after just a few hours. Wish it would allow more model interaction and ability to edit wiki pages.
Every time I close it, it signs me out! And when I press stay signed in, this doesn't change anything. I also wish it was easier to move the camera around, like if you could drag the little box in the corner around that shows your perspective, like on the computer. The nice thing is that I can easily find and view all of my files. Makes it nice for showing it to friends and family. Update. The new verification code every sign in is horrible!
Great when it works, but just like the actual app, it's plagued with bugs. First, you need to login and provide your 2FA code, every time you open the app, no matter how many times you've clicked the remember this device for 30 days box. Then, projects I've had for over two years, as well as new ones, I get the "we are generating your model, do you want us to tell you when it's ready?" dialogue. Which of course never does if you click yes.
Update: It's no longer possible to login to the app. Their multi-factor authentication breaks the login process. My biggest problem with this app is that you can only toggle bodies/components that were visible when you saved on Desktop. If you're toggling the visibility so you can work on things, then you have an idea for another part you want to check on while away from your desk, you can't. This severely limits the usefulness of the app, to the point where it's almost not worth opening.
Mediocre for viewing projects, nothing else. You can only look at projects/models already made, and that's it. You can't make new models, you can't edit models, nothing. Additionally, you are only viewing the final project, like what you'd get from a viewing only share link. It doesn't show sketches, planes, or any sort of construction anything. They were able to make a web based version to be accessed by Chrome books, so I don't know why they didn't just use that and change the U.I.
