Haven't been able to effectively use the app since October. I got a new phone in November and I can't even login, so I'm not receiving any notifications or alerts. Yes, I've deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. I spoke to customer service and was first told I needed a new login account, then told there's "issues" with the app with no ETA of when it will be fixed. 🤔 I've been a customer for nearly 8 years, so I'm very disappointed in the inefficiency at all.
seems like this app is not maintained and has not been updated in years or even decades. it's hasn't been improved in the years I've used it. it doesn't even support dark mode. when I select video clips it goes in a loop selecting the camera and then clips again. it's like no one at adt is testing this app works or paying any attention. it doesn't even fully control the status of the home control panel. cameras still only take 30 second clips at a time. control of automations has been removed.
Awful! Can't use it at all. Ever since the July update. Had problems earlier in the year as well then they fixed it only to be left with thw same issue yet again. I can't even log on to the website and arm/disarm!!! Why pay the money monthly when it's such a HASSLE to keep the app working for customers properly. I have Uninstalled the app and reinstall multiple times and still won't work! Very frustrating for the money we pay for this system!
UPDATED: I went to the ADT website, I logged in there. After I did that, the app was able to login again. Not sure what happened there. ------------------ It used to work, can't login now. For the last few days it simply doesn't let me login, doesn't let me reset my password, there is no way to get in. I've seen online multiple complaints about the same.
Sometimes it will work, sometimes it doesn't. For example, i am in my room trying to set the alarm and it will not work. It keeps trying to troubleshoot instead. When i try to set it or turn it off coming or leaving, it doesn't always work and i end up setting the alarm off at 5 am when i get home from work. It's okay when it wants to be. 🤷♀️
