I love using this app for my daily Bible study. I'm subscribed to the premium version. The biggest disappointment is that I still have to make in app purchases for many of the books, study Bibles, and commentaries. I'm paying for a premium app, everything should be accessible without having to pay additional costs for products in the app. Please make all books, Bibles, and commentaries included in the premium subscription.
Excellent tool for Bible study. You may find a 'bug' they will fix when notified. Well worth the annual fee to preserve your notes, etc. UPDATE: Still pleased with the app except it doesn't maintain my personal settings on my laptop. It is not a game breaker but can be annoying because I use the app on my Kindle Fire & Droid with no issues.
it was awesome when it first started. but if you don't pay it is ate up with ads and some are not Christian at all! I have bought several Bible versions and it is nice to switch to a different version like amplified that explains it better. I still like reading a paper Bible. But this is definitely the best Bible app that there is. I really enjoy being able to highlight in different colors.
I love this app. It loading time from a cold start is significantly faster than most of the Bible apps out there. The layout is simple and efficient, especially how it integrates with Study Bible contents. The buttons for charts, maps, highlighted articles are conveniently placed inline to tap if desired. Commentary and footnotes are on a separate tab so not to clutter the reading area. Another mention of the design is the excellent choice of contrast colors for readability.
Not user friendly. This was the very best Bible app in the app store. Easy to navigate. They had a wheel which made it very easy to find books. I bought a bunch of their Bibles. They all included the wheel. I bet there 100s of thousands that feel like I do. This app went from super easy to use, to very complicated. If the people running this are Christian, the goal should be to make it easier to read, not harder. AN ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT. Bring the old app back. Please.
