This used to be a good app. I am a premium member, and I can not log in anymore. I have contacted support. They are asking for a screenshot shot of my account. Every time I send it in, they block the image and tell me the email was empty. They just keep sending me the same email asking for a screenshot of my account. Broken record. Support tells me my account does not exist, but if I try to recreate the account the app says my account exists. Such a shame.

This app has always been buggy, and I've filed many bug reports over the years. The response is usually uninstall and reinstall, then when the bug is still there, maybe they will look at it some day. I last paid for a 5 year subscription for $54, and when that just expired, now they want $60 for a single year. There are fewer features now like route saving in free, missing map sections. What you would expect when they were bought by a VC group wanting $$$. Dumping after 7 years subscribing.

Map layers are duplicated hundreds of times in the layer list. This has been the case for a year now, and they haven't fixed it despite my reporting it several times (and trying all their suggested fixes). The latest update says they fixed it, but it is not fixed. They asked me to send them logs, but the app no longer can send logs (gets an error message when I try). What a dumpster fire.

So. Many. Bugs. Have been a long time paying user. After the Outside acquisition, every update brings more bugs and reduced usability and more undocumented changes. Now after the last update, i have a permanent "29 downloads in progress" from Gaia in my notifications, despite no actual network traffic happening. Have rebooted phone several times to no avail. I'm so extremely frustrated with the bad direction this app has taken these last few years.

Ruined what used to be good. I've been using Gaia for years and used to love the app. However, since Outside acquired them the app has been on a steady decline. It's nearly unusable these days. Slow and glitchy UI. Crashes constantly. Duplicate map layers that never get fixed. Offline maps that dont load. Web version not syncing over to mobile. The list goes on and on. I don't know why I'm paying for an app that continues to lose functionality every time I open it....
