The app did work, though it had a bunch of pop-ups and ads. The concerning part is that after downloading, my phone was insanely laggy. I tried sharing my screen with my friend on a call, and it kept playing an audio saying "Extreme Storm Warning" in a masculine voice. I deleted the app immediately, and my phone runs so much better now. I'm not saying this app is a virus, but please have caution.
i love this tuner. have used for many years. Used to have banner ads. now replaced with obnoxious full screen game demos. please return to banner ads or add a one time fee to buy a particular version instead of 15 per week. that is ridiculous. A normal tuner is like 20 dollars on amazon. i'd gladly pay you 25 dollars once to support the app. i can't justify 60 dollars per month. if you fix this part of it. i will change to 5 stars.
I have used this app for a number of years on and off and can't believe the difference with all the pop up ads interfering with the sole purpose of the app. It's annoying and disruptive. Today for some reason, the tuner isn't working, taking me far out tuning up and then going way back down never actually anywhere near in tune. I have removed the app and reinstalled it to see if it will work. If not, away it goes and I will simply purchase a physical, reliable one to use.
I like this tuner app for its functionality. I have an old banjolele that clip-on electronic tuners have a hard time tuning, but this app seems to be able to. I would gladly pay even $60 per year for a subscription to go ad-free, which is more than most other apps. Charging $15/week seems like a scam.
used this app for years, on and off,of course. Started with no/unintrusive ads (heck yeah!) went to banners (get that bag, G), then pop-ups on open(annoying but still, get that bag. And there was only one. and now I come back, and its a free trial and a costly subscription for stuff they used to offer for an actually free app. The only reason I dont give it a one is because of the years of usefulness I got out of it. I can't even say it's a shell if its former self; it's its own antithesis.
