the ads are not just intrusive, they are misleading, trying to get you to click accidentally. It was tolerable for a time, but now everything I snap is misidentified. I usually only used it when I didn't know what it was. Lately, the answers didn't look like the picture. Now I test it on things I know and it is getting them all very wrong.

Too many ads. When you upload a picture, they pop up shortly after identifying the plant. It's difficult to exit out of them. Shame, because it seemed to be identifying the plants accurately. Not worth it though, as there are other apps that will do the same thing without inundating you with ads. Also, you will have to download Adobe Express.

So far it's great! Not a lot of annoying ads and does exactly what it's supposed. Love the My Plants section so u can keep track of what u are growing. Thought about upgrading to remove ads but it's a monthly price and not a one time feel. Also it would be great if we could change the picture at the top of the my plants section to actually show a group photo of our plants instead of the stock picture.

In terms of doing what it says, I'd say it's pretty good. I've had reasonable accuracy, I like the side-by-side comparisons, I like the amount of information given, it's pretty easy to use, and explicitly supporting fungi is pretty cool too. However, the intrusiveness of the ads and the frequent requests to pay for the app have made it too slow and frustrating to use. I don't use this often enough to justify paying for it. I swapped to a not-so-naggy free app that's at least as accurate.

Was able to identify all my weird succulents and other more common plants. Just take a picture of your plant (my pictures weren't even in the best lighting). Then the app will give you a list of possibilities and you can compare your plant to several pictures. My plants were the first option they gave 90% of the time. Very accurate and easy to use!
