Security & Privacy Review
I found info that will help. However, the one provider that had a website was ineffective to me. It offered a quote, which is what I wanted in addition to services. That's why I gave it 3 stars, which was generous. Never did get a quote for a simple service, which is not "The Yellow Page's" fault...the remaining few simply provided a phone number. The Yellow Pages did the best they could, I guess.
So helpful. I use it almost daily to get phone numbers, addresses and times for businesses. Often times links to. other info such as prices/menus or kinds of things they sell. Love that it links to GPS for directions. Update...i don't know if there was an app update or just something not right, but this app doesn't do anything now. It acts like it is searching, but it never does anyone than that. I'll have to look for another app.
Used to use this all. the. time. to look for the phone numbers of businesses I need. Now, it simply pretends to work but does nothing. It "searches" and "searches," looking up a number forever! I don't know what happened (and I see I'm not the only user who's experiencing this, sadly,), but I've uninstalled the app. No point cluttering my phone with something that doesn't work....and seems to have no developers anywhere in sight to fix it.
There's a lot of outdated information that needs to be weeded out. Listings often show businesses that had either shut down or moved years before. Edit: three years later, nothing has changed. I often see listings for businesses that folded years ago, inaccurate business hours, incorrect phone numbers. I'm reducing my rating from 2 stars down to 1.
This app. Charged me 4.99 after I agreed to pay 4.99. Gave payment info. I searched for a number that the previous they showed the result with family members of the individual so I know it was in their system. But after they got my money they had no listing??? Rip off white pages app. Too! This is the first bad review I have ever huh give! And I post a lot of reviews,!
