I love the chosen and I love that the app is free to watch. what I find annoying is how often the same [promotion video?] plays at the beginning of each episode. it would be fine if it was a different one, but it plays even when I get out of an episode and come back later. having a ad video play before is tedious when I just wish to watch the series.
Why doesn't it work on the Roku anymore? I can play it on my phone perfectly fine but anytime I try to watch it on our Roku, the picture freezes but the sound continues. I can't get more than a minute in before it freezes up. If I try to cast it, it freezes at the loading screen. I can't cast it to my smart TV, it has to be specific devices and doesn't work on said devices. Very frustrating when we are trying to watch as a family. Please, please get this fixed. ☹️
get ready to buffer. this app is ridiculous with buffering. it will play a couple min, then it goes into this play 2 seconds then buffer for 5 then play 1 second and buffer for 3. and that goes on for a few minutes until it finally starts to play again or I get so angry I just close the app. I have only seen season 1 and want to watch the whole thing. I have done everything on my end to help it out, but this is an app / server issue. I have tried watching at all hours of the day and night. same
I love watching your show on my phone, and it did well. But in other devices, the app is really buggy. Screen sometimes bugs out of frame when trying to rewind or fast foward. Other than on my phone, other devices doesn't keep track of what episode or what captions is on. And the app on my phone can't even pick up on other devices even with Wifi on. Other than that, it's a good app to watch the show, and I love it!
Amazing Show! Not great app. The app will not save my place in the show. So if for any reason I can't finish, I have to start over and get an un-skippable ad, then fast forward. Also, the subtitles just refuse to work, and it also will not cast to my TV. I started watching the show on Netflix first, and was sad to see the other seasons were on a separate app, but I understand why. It is just such a shame that the experience is not nearly as pleasant now.
