app and service review. TC has been hitting their customers over the head to get the app and service. The push was on the edge of obnoxious but I gave a go on month to month plan. Frankly I am blown away by how good this is. I follow a small list of players I prefer to watch. using the schedule facility I can find the matches I want to see. I never watch live tennis, I much prefer replay so I can FF through commercials. I was able to cancel YT tv sports plus, no need for TC or TC2.
The lack of commentary on some big match replays is really frustrating. I almost put one star, but I don't like doing that over an issue like this because it looses meaning. Trying to watch Medvedev melt down at the Monte-Carlo masters, and there is no commentary track. I've seen it happen before, too. I know for a fact when the match was live it was being announced. Seems like a upload error you guys keep making. If you guysfix this error, I'll be happy to revisit my review!
At least once a month, I get a box saying that the match I want to watch is only available to subscribers. I'M A SUBSCRIBER!! LOGGED IN!! I've tried logging out and logging back in, but the only way to get the message to go away is to uninstall and reinstall the app. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! And sometimes the matches won't load until I've closed out of the app 3 or 4 times.
Agreed with everyone else, the app not only forgets that I have a subscription and that I was logged in the last time I used it, it doesn't give me an option to log out and long in again, only an option to buy another subscription. I'm not usually one for leaving bad reviews for apps (or leaving any reviews for apps), but this is just the worst.
Ditto all the problems others mention. I had WEEKS when I couldn't log in, matches that go off the air DURING the match, channels that change themselves with no prompt from the remote; I have been told I have to sign in & then not given a login screen but a "Subscribe" screen where you must sign up & pay. Also, people who don't subscribe but have Tennis Channel thru cable or satellite get to see the best matches while I'm blacked out. So aggravating! 1 star is too generous for this app.
