I get on the app and have almost 40k points. Then I enable my location and they disappear. I update the app and they're still gone. All these years of using only speedway and now they're doing things to take points away. Gas is too high to take away people's points! I was going to the app to make sure fuel cards were reloadable from the app so I could go get my nephew one and have a way to help him when he was back at college. Definitely not buying that card now. Loyalty is useless nowadays.
Takes forever to earn enough points for a coupon, then the coupons don't even work in any store. When you redeem a coupon on the app, you can't un-redeem it when the coupon doesn't work. Then when the coupon expires, you don't get the points back. Done playing their games, there are cheaper gas stations in my area. Deleting the app and not coming back to speedway
The app used to work great until recent updates. Now it seems to crash when opening and I have to close and reopen to get it to work. The map to find fuel prices is worthless now. It constantly recenters on my location and I can't get anything more than a couple miles from me. When traveling long distance, it is nice to know where I can stop along the route and get the cheapest gas, but impossible to do that with the latest update!
I used to be able to see the transactions associated with the individual gift cards. now all of the receipts are under one place and there is no way to see how it was paid or what gift card I used. no way to track errors or be sure the cards have no unauthorized usage. being able to see that is what lead me to have the theft is a card tracked and replaced due to the cashier being one who stole my numbers and rewards. speedway made it very right by me. this was not an upgrade.
I like the price lock option if I could ever figure out how to use it. I tried using it three time and had to ask AI how it worked because the app wasn't clear. All those times I tried to save money and couldn't was pretty aggravating. Today I tried to use it and parked at the pump and tried to pay thru my app and you literally have to get out of your car and walk to the front door of the building. That's defeating the purpose of paying theu the app if you ask me.
