awful! the status is incorrect half the time, it takes forever to connect (and yes I troubleshooted the wifi and batteries and everything is working.) the app is slow, buggy, and generally annoying. supposed to be compatible with Airbnb but for some reason is not. I dont trust it and foresee issues all season long. will be changing to something else when possible.
I've owned the Schlage lock and have been using this app for about 1 1/2 years now. The lock is great, the app was great for the first year, but now the open/close notifications are not consistent. Sometimes the notifications are immediate, but more often they are not. I am starting to get notifications 20-30 minutes after the lock has opened/closed, this is not good at all (defeats the purpose). Hopefully there is a firmware update that will correct this soon!
Unfortunately, if you are reading this you probably already bought and installed the Schlage Arrive or another model. What a nightmare to set up. This is the worst I have ever had to suffer through. I am a few hours in and it still will not pair with the app via bluetooth. Just a soul sucking process. Skip buying this lock and pull your fingernails out instead.
when it works it's great, but when it doesn't it becomes beyond frustrating. I would like it better if the lock would stop randomly locking me out of my house! the app states battery is still good but unable to reset the lock or unlock the door with the app whenever the lock /app decide to just stop working randomly. the only fix is to take the batteries out and put it back in, but you can't do that when you are locked out of the house!
It gets the job done, and you more/less have to have it, but it is quirky. EVERY TIME, when the app times out, I log back in successfully, but it wont let me add a temporary code. So, I have to close the app out, re-open it, and then it will let me add a temporary code. Every. Time.
