The fact that you have to pay a membership fee to watch the animes, and still be forced to watch ads is insane. In addition to that, the app is constantly glitching. I used the trial period to binge watch the one anime I wanted to watch, then cancelled my membership. Just go to Crunchyroll. It's literally superior in every way.

Have this on my Roku Device, really enjoy watching older anime I've never seen before or stuff I forgot about. Works fine enough on phone, doesn't want to work sometimes on streaming devices, but good overall. The new layout update kinda makes things hard to find, can't really watch anything on streaming devices and keeps signing you out for no reason. Used to be good, but now it has too many problems, would still recommend once things are fixed up more.

this is disappointing. I am a Japanese learner for a few years and I was excited by retrocrush since I have a big liking to retro products. however the anime is hard subbed and you cannot turn off the subtitles in English, further more, they also don't offer Japanese subs as well. I know I'm the 1 percent of this targeted audience but it's still a let down. I was willing to more than pay as well. I could be wrong but ive also heard prime members still view ads, although lesser Than free users.

There are some really strange design decisions with the video player, lack of settings, and features that would be great if they were here but aren't. There's also a lack of polish. I know many old anime were made in lower resolutions (ex: 480p), but I at least didn't expect piracy site levels of low bitrate. Although, the service IS free at the end of the day, so I'm not gonna be any more picky. Ads are rare as well, I expected a loooot of ads, but no!

Exceptional idea, I've been waiting for an app like this. The only problem I have with it is that some of the right of the image gets cut off when I Chromecast it to my brand new Vizio. I'm sure it's the Chromecast built in issue, bc it does it to Looney tunes on boomerang. Anyways, every time I'm browsing anime on a streaming service, I'm always looking thru hundreds of titles for the OLDEST they have. So that would be cool if eventually you could list them by year. Thank you for the this app!!
