App forces you to use location accuracy, which is not cool. That should be the users choice if they prefer to limit location accuracy even if it provides a lesser in app experience. Whenever I open the app, the notification pops up asking if I want to turn on location accuracy, when I press no, the message just pops up infinitely until you give up and turn on location accuracy. This is incredibly poor from the app devs. Also forced to use Samsung wallet for digital key, no option for Google.
It's ok...I expected a better store. Also, the app wasn't as "plentiful" as the website with products. Honestly, it's the worst car app I've seen. It told me "remote start is not included in this package", but did not give any further details on how to find a package,or order one.
This app hasn't worked in the past few days AGAIN (I have 3 BMW products, 2 that are less than a year old, one a Full ///M and this app is very undependable, especially when you really need it. This is very frustrating when you can't use it in any of your cars, especially in the sub-zero weather. Come on BMW, get with the program before I move to another brand. Inexcusable.
BMW is starting to turn into a joke. They want to control how many times a customer remote start their cars...really ! If it's cold outside, I am talking about really cold and i remote start my car That's not long enough for the car to warm up. Not only that, sometimes you remote start your car, but something pops up and you're unable to make it out on time Therefore needing to restart it again. BMW brand and the app sucks !
"Vehicle data off" - only connects to my X1 when it feels like it, and that ain't very often. 3/23 Same thing. The only really useful feature of the app (to me) is not working again. I suspect the problem may be with BMW's mobile network provider, not the app itself. If this is the case, BMW, are you listening? GET A NEW CELL NET!
