Very disappointing for $130 with single probe and app that is constantly disconnecting, even when I'm only 6 feet from the probe with my phone in one hand and the base unit in the other. It's literally brand new, with a brand new battery, and can only stay connected for maybe 30 seconds at a time. I just got it today (the 1000° safe Meater Pro) and it's worthless. I had really high hopes. Might try to call the company, but will probably try to return it or something. Expensive paperweight.

This is the second time I've used my probes and both times the constantly say disconnected even though I'm not 6 feet from my smoker. And both time the temperature graph just spins towards the end of the cook. I feel like the price paid should warrant a better experience. Edit: Followed your directions and still dealing with connectivity issues. Wish I could upload pictures to show I'm literally standing on top of my smoker and still I'm having issues. I will be in the market for new probes.

1. You need to create an account to log into the app. This is a meat thermometer, yet they insist on logging you in. Imagine if your Bluetooth headphones required their own account. 2. If you walk away from your smoker, the app will start pinging you like crazy that the thermometer is disconnected. Well yeah, how many people are going to hang out in bletooth range while their meat cooks? The range and connectivity options are done badly. 3. Expensive for what it is.

While the probe works, it has never once given me an accurate initial estimate. The app has been giving notifications every 3-5 minutes for a slow roast with no ability to disable them. As for the response, I look forward to your product ignoring the notification spam reported for several years in these reviews. You could always prove me wrong and fix it, though.

I've had the 4 probe Meater for a couple years now. they worked very good one time only. the next time I tried to use them, maybe a couple weeks later, they had a hard time staying connected. every time I try to use them after thst they wouldn't stay connected. tried updating, tried making sure they were fully charged (for a few hours before using) but nothing seems to make them work right. today I'm going to remive them from the app and try to reconnect them. if this doesn't work I'm done.
