Every time the new content is updated in the app, My video screen shows black and only audio is playing. I tried everything by removing cache memory, installed the app again, but the same thing is happening. It was a really horrible experience because I have been facing this for the last one month.

This is one of the most frustrating and greedy apps I have ever used. Even though I pay for the 'Super' subscription, the app still shows advertisements, which is incredibly annoying. A paid plan should be completely ad-free. If they need to cut costs for lower paid tiers, they should lower the picture quality instead of forcing ads on paying users. Advertisements should only be shown on free plans."

The biggest issue with JioHotstar is the excessive number of ads. The ads are not only frequent but also quite long, which completely breaks the flow of watching a movie or show. I understand that ads are part of the free experience, but the current frequency is simply too much. Instead of enjoying the content, I end up getting frustrated because the viewing experience keeps getting interrupted. Reducing the number of ads or making them shorter would make the app much more enjoyable to use.

Honestly, the best app for watching ads. My only complaint is that since I paid for a subscription, they occasionally interrupt my commercial breaks to play a movie. Also, huge shoutout to the ad quality—there is nothing quite as 'eye-soothing' as a pitch-black screen suddenly turning into a blinding white survey ad at midnight. 10/10
