favorite delivery place. **UPDATE** I still love Gopuff. However...the new feature addition that shows you what you've ordered before and starts a bag for you? IS AWFUL! I'm technology challenged, old, and dinosaurs in my ways. I have no idea how to use it. I have to go in and delete one by one each item. it is the biggest pain. If you're going to keep this wretched feature, put a giant button on it that says "get out" or something similar to make it easy. Otherwise you're great!
The new AI interface is awful. You have to use the chat interface, there's no option to just browse products and pick them. It puts everything in one chat box so when you scroll through it, the whole app gets slow and unusable to the point where you have to restart the app. Just let us use a normal shopping app again, this AI thing is flashy, slow, unusable nonsense.
Have ordered a few times, accidentally left my driver a small tip and sent her the following message "just wanted to let you know that I meant to leave you a larger tip on the app but wasn't paying attention and I will have a cash tip for you when you get here. Thank you :)" The app flagged my message stating it used "inappropriate language" and refused to send the message. If I can't communicate with the couriers I won't use the service. Support was not helpful at all.
You will not get your items, but they will make sure to keep your money. if you order an item and they don't have it they will allow you to spend your money and not refund you a single dime for expedited delivery tip or taxes. I ordered one item and gum the gum was extra. They didn't have the item; the only reason I placed an order So they sent me three dollars worth of gum and charged me thirteen dollars. Back to Doordash. * Update 05/17/26 Still a trash app & and a waste of money and time.
Recommend the monthly subscription, no delivery fees and extra discounts. I buy almost exclusively from their sale options, some really good deals and I think I probably save money overall. Not always the best selection or deals but almost always cheaper and more convenient than a $10+ Lyft each way. Not all great though, there's zero customer service. Waited 3 hours for an order because there "weren't enough drivers." Maybe just say my order will be delayed? Thanks for wasting my time.
