I've been using this app for several years, and it just keeps getting better. In addition the staff and people who manage the pro subscription respond lightning fast and are super knowledgeable. I caught a very obscure species of fish (Batfish) and they helped me identify it very quickly. If you are a saltwater angler, and even fresh in some states, this app is only going to become more popular and more helpful to track regulations and to aid in identification. This is a must download.
Great, simple app. The pictures are great, and the regulations for each fish are very easy to understand. They even give extra information for many fish like how good the fish tastes, if the fish is good bait fish, etc The app is a little clunky when you try loading up. I often find myself opening up the app, then closing it, then reopening it. I might have to do this a few times until the app stops freezing at the start.But once the app gets past that, and the fish species pop up, it is golden
Has potential but too many bugs and incomplete features. often an overlay will not display, but disables the entire screen from any input. whole app is just grayed out. trip planner lacks any usefulness. maps doesn't show catches. reefs are nice to see. no tide info?. basics just aren't there that many other free apps have. as such I can't recommend any reason to use this until it matures.. fish identification isn't real time! what are you supposed to do, just hold the fish until u reply? AI it!
its okay. it works for the hot spots but if you just wanna fish on a random lake it wont tell you anything. its better to just take note of the coordinates and ask A.I to look up any regulations and other important factors. i went to my usual spot to fish and thought why not check? the app said absolutely nothing and when i posted my coordinates to chatgpt it said yes the water is open to fish but i would be trespassing on private land, so find a different spot! ill rely on A.I from now on.
This is/was a great app. Whatever update it currently received has made it very buggy and impossible to use. It's great to have to know exactly what regs apply to your exact location but not if all it does it spin and freeze when trying to access it. Phones are Samsung S23 Ultra and Samsung S24 Ultra with the same results. It used to work, please fix!
