while I may love bojangles chicken and what not, the app is absolutely terrible and does not function correctly. when I first downloaded it, I was given the option of a free chicken sandwich with my next purchase for a limited time. well guess what butter cup, it wont accept my perfectly valid payment information. I tripple checked, quadruple checked the information I put it. I tried again days later after reinstalling the app and it won't add the sandwich to the order. shame on you bojangles
every time I open this app it forces me to choose to allow the app to access my location ALL THE TIME instead of only when I'm using the app, only then will the app even open! Then it selects stores that are 20 minutes from me so I have to manually go change the location every time. Plus there are never any deals, no rewards or perks for using the app, etc. I'm uninstalling bc it's pointless. It doesn't save me time or money and is so buggy, it's so frustrating to use.
App Needs Refinement Apparently, there's a mystery free chicken sandwich floating around but you can't find a way to claim it. Says my order doesn't qualify but fails to tell you what will make it work. Secondly, I made two separate orders. The app gives you the option to notify the store when you're on your way. I ordered my order 30 min before my pickup time. I notified the store for my most recent order (b'cuz it won't let me notify the store for both orders), I was 5 min away yet it wacold.
I love bojangles, I go and eat breakfast every Saturday and have been for a few years now, but the app is not very good, it's missing menu items, it can be unresponsive and it will sometimes crash. there should also be more deals, even if it's like a $1 off a combo or something, I don't really see the point in using the app when I can order in the store and get my food in a few minutes.
It won't work after updating if my location settings are set to "ask every time" but I want it to ask me every time because I don't like random apps just having my location without asking. When I login, it freezes on the push notification info screen or just goes white. It also logs out every time I close it, which is annoying. Tried closing and force stopping the app, didn't work.
