Much better than Yuka! Plus this one is free. The only reason I don't give 5 Stars is because I have seen several products listed more than once, and I don't mean different flavors or scents. I mean the exact same product listed more than once. I have sent an email asking that they go through their database and clean it up a little. Hopefully, they will.
I follow a different weight management program that cuts simple carbs and refined sugars. It isn't Keto but what this app helps me with is the ingredients with all the products he uses compared to what I use. It has helped me out tremendously with my program. Some things I might not be able to have but I can scan it and it tells me why. Not everything is black and white. I thought O was very knowledgeable. But apparently I am not so I use the app.
Its very accurate and user friendly. 1 gave 3 stars because when I use the scanner, I cant use it again unless I completely close the app and clear it's cache, very frustrating when you are shopping with children. I also couldn't find a place to just search for my common products ahead of time to prepare for my shopping trip. It would be nice to have a community link to share recipes and interesting finds also.
The app is fantastic if it actually works. Most of the time it won't scan anything. I get it to work maybe one out of 10 times if even that. This part is pretty annoying. Even if I scan one thing and then close it and open it back up to scan another thing it still doesn't work for me most of the time. Plus if I type a product in, many say not found wether I'm specific or use as little words as possible. I would love to use the app, but the scanning issue needs to be fixed.
It's awesome when it works. App is really slow. I look like an idiot when I'm holding the product under the scanner for like 30 seconds and nothing comes up. Have perfect cellular connection and wifi in the store. Takes waaaaay to long. Annoying. May look for another app as this app adds like an extra 30 to 45 minutes anytime im grocery shopping. If your app doesn't recognize the item, it should be way quicker to fire that info back to the user.
