Good selection, I like the fact that I can cast from my phone rather than messing with extra plugs and cords to get tv, however it constantly drops out randomly, whether it be a few minutes into a show or as soon as it ends, it comes up with technical issue. Pressing retry doesn't do anything. I'm forced to close and reopen the app multiple times before it finally works. Like others have said, this is only happening with this particular app. Edit: now unable to watch anything on phone at all
This app is so glitchy. I Chrome cast from my phone. To watch a series, I have to stop casting after an episode and leave the App for awhile then go back. Never automatically goes in the the next episode even though I have it in settings to do that. Takes forever to watch something. 9Now, ABC View and SBS on Demand are great as well as Netflix. I only use it if there is something I want to see. I wish the developers of this App would fix the autoplay on it for users who Chromecast.
Needs Advertised Feature! When you see an advertisement for a show but cannot remember the name of it you can type "advertised" into the search bar & bring up all the current & recent shows advertised shows. This should bring up ads on all platforms. Also it needs to go easier on the in show commercials if you rewind the show to see something just before an ad then have to watch the commercial again too. Don't get me wrong I'm ok with the number of commercials when watching a show normally.
Happy to exchange free to watch for the occasional ad but I'm going to join the chorus of disappointed voices tired of the advert functions ruining the viewing experience. Towards the end of every movie it starts to stop and start but somehow the ads run without hesitation. I tried restarting the TV thinking it might be a buffering issue only to find the movie I was engrossed in had now disappeared completely. This app will contribute to the death of free to air if not fixed.
And now they've removed the castingThis app has gotten to be so unstable it's crazy. We've stopped watching it all together because it just stops dead part way through constantly and you can't get anything back at all. Nothing to do with the internet just this app and it's not just every now & then. Really really really REALLY frustrating you can't even watch a single program - that's when it does start up "retry", retry, retry - how many times..Please fix your only application this is usel
