We use the Petsmart app for all our purchases as the prices are cheaper than in-store. Lots of reward specials and our store is really good about reminding people to activate them. Unfortunately our groomer left due to pay cuts so we don't get as many points as we used to but the app is good. It even notifies you when your order is ready for pick up so you don't have to check for an email. Wish they would bring the cute game back. Loved that!
There always seems to be some glitch that makes it frustrating. Either issues checking out, or quantities are never correct. Pretty much every order I've made through the app for pickup in store has not been complete. I don't know if this is a store issue where they don't do inventory correctly, or? But I never get everything I order, which then messes w/the perk points I apply to the order. Today I applied $6 to the order, two items got removed & so it only applied $4.85 to the order. Annoying.
Extremely Glitchy and Slow! PROS: The app doesn't require minimum quantities when ordering for delivery (the website does), and they carry Exquisicat litter. CONS: The app is frustratingly slow and there are glitches galore! Unknown errors, missing pages, terrible 'search' capabilities, outright crashes... And checkout is a mess! Often, certain payment options don't work, and sometimes none of them work, so you can't complete your transaction at all!
So i can make purchases now, but when i have things in my cart it doesn't tell me if the special offer on it was applied or minus the promo amount from the product's amount in the cart which was a useful feature. Example: one brand has an offer of $5 off if you spend $30 or more. It shows me the regular sale price, but i have a promo added that takes a percentage off. Idk if the brand with the promo off is still enough for the offer and the math doesn't add up. Idk what's being added or not.
I usually love this app and use it very frequently, but finally found my first unusable error. It refuses to move on to delivery options after I put in my address when I try to set up auto-ship, so I can't use it. I'm very disappointed in that because shipping is the only way I can get in the big bag of cat food I need. Everything else I can get from my store.
