Deal dash has been around for a long time. The ads on TV show wins at low cost but those happen if you don't have a lot of other bidders against you. You have to buy bids or points depending on how you want to refer to them so they win even if you don't. Purchased bids costs $.10 to .16 depending on their specials. Though they do have lots of penny auctions those are a penny plus your bids.
This app seems super shady. First of all, it looks like there's an "instant win" option, but the price for that is double or close to triple the retail price. Second, you need to spend money to buy extra chances to place bids. If someone outbids you, well... you just threw your money away. This leads to the final point. It feels like there are bots on the app always outbidding just to drive up the price, making people waste their money.
Beware! You may think that what you bid is what you pay, and that's even what they show you on. commercials. WRONG! Each bid costs you money and you pay that even if you lose. Add winning bid amt to that IF you win I bid on 2 items one for just a few, and then another one. I stopped at under $5, but it cost me $35 even with the $50 gift that you start with. I didn't win. I would not be the least but surprised if they have people betting to drive up # of bets you place. Deceiving!
Lesson learned! I remembered why I deleted this app in the first place. you spend money over and over on packs and have nothing to show for it if you happen not to win. over $200 wasted this round I'll be uninstalling it again after getting these rounds finished. A normal auction has a time limit already set, you bid a certain amount and if you don't win the item you don't lose any money.
I checked my bank account as I do regularly and I had $35 charge that was pending. I went to the site and took a moment to figure things out but I didn't win any of the bids I bid on. found a spot where they charged me $35. they did allow it to be refunded (I will check in 3-5 days if it did) but charged me for 610 more bids. which for 1¢ a bid, that should be $6.10. anyways ,check your account and make sure they aren't charging you. bids weren't worth it. takes a lot of time
