In 2022 there were ads every other puzzle. Now ads follow *every* puzzle. The prize system used to be fun & fair. We played for the specific prizes we wanted. Now, prizes are random, so you waste a ton of time working for prizes you don't even want and miss out on the time limited ones you did want. This was a 5 star game. Now, I'm deleting it despite my 1369 day streak. I literally played this daily for 3+ years but what was once a satisfying game has become an exercise in frustration.
I have been playing for a few years. I have been getting ads that don't stop running. I have to close out of the app and I miss out on the additional item for the 6 hour path. Where your watch a video and you get the extra one. Add if you have taken 2 turns. Not a huge deal. But I also miss out the prizes dying the path in the missions and I miss out on the big prize if finishing it and I don't get the box of book pages. Extremely frustrating. I get screwed out of book pages.
I've played for 6+ years. recently the difficulty level keeps fluctuating whether you change it or not. I thought they fixed it but now it's back. So aggravating when too many obscured clues/answers are un the puzzle. i.e., authors of books you've never heard of. A few of these type in each group is fine because you can usually figure it or get enough letters to guess. but when most of the group is like that, it is not fun to play.
This is a most enjoyable game for people of all ages and knowledge levels. I love the variety in side games and missions. please, please give us more Lunacross. I absolutely love that one and hope one day to be able to access archives like we can with the Daily Crossword. more Lunacross, please! Keep up the great work!
As of mid May the game constantly freezes and I have to force stop it to continue playing. It happens within a minute or two of playing. It freezes randomly, not in any specific point in the game. I tried deleting the cache to no avail. Not sure if this was from your end or an Android update. I have a Pixel 9.
