Plenty of opportunities to gain currencies and boosts, but for gaining premium tanks your really gonna need to empty your bank account, as this game has a lot of gambling for premiums and special items. It's obviously gotten worse over the years and doesn't look like it's gonna get better. For new and returning players, play at your own risk and Progression is gonna be tough, but it's not the worst that it could be.
There seems to be a lot of hackers and bots in this game. I've had tanks disappear then reappear across the map. I've been destroyed by players I couldn't see. I've been destroyed by players with one shot while my shots magically missed or did no damage at all. Matchmaking is not good, and I've been completely outmatched more times than I can count. You can report players for suspected cheating, but nothing ever happens, you still see those players later on.
this is one of if not the greatest mobile game I've ever played, the graphics are amazing, the availability for free to play with the tech tree, (soon to be sets) is amazing, and I rarely ever crash on my phone, over all this game is like no other and I recommend to anyone and everyone who has time and is willing to grind through the trees. there are things that I do have to say, 1 thing is that wargaming is a little bit money hungry witch I hope they work on. otherwise, play it.
this game used to be fun. but when the overwhelming pay to play destroys any chance of fun for people who do not have money. literally cannot survive a single shot regardless of what level tank. it takes RIDICULOUSLY long to match up. all around i recommend avoiding if you do not have money to spend. UPDATE 5/31: the developer is lying. you CANNOT WIN CONSISTENTLY if you do not have the money to pay for the high quality. And its ridiculously expensive to purchase even basic level tanks.
I love this game and have played it for years but I believe the recent updates are starting to ruin it a little and I can see that from the player count that that's the case. Many more people used to play before then now and I hope they can really turn things around. I have constant connection issues and they got rid of the quick chat system, although now I see it's back. I'll always keep playing and giving my money but please fix connection problems.
