I've got nearly 1M points in this game. I've been playing it for years, i love that i was able to buy a no ads version. However, it looks like it got a total rewrite. The checking logic has gotten bad. When I'm pencilling things in, sometimes it checks, sometimes it doesn't. it just let me pencil a 4 in a column that already has a 4. It used to clear out pencils where that number was committed in a row or column, but it no longer does that reliably. it's very disappointing.

Good but glitchy. I tried multiple, & what I like about this one is beautiful themes/customization, & an excellent hint system for a little nudge. Importantly, we don't have to watch an ad! But I'm still not satisfied. For whatever reason, I usually have to click SEVERAL times to get the game to register that I'm trying to enter a number (whether entering it directly or adding a note). Literally have to click 5-6x!! This detracts from it being relaxing! This is on a new phone, too. Annoying.

2026. ads have become invasive again. they do not go away. you have to close the program and restart. usually 3 or 4 times. use to be great but the ads makes me want to uninstall. They revised their game to work with new Android software But ads are very invasive Shows ads too many times and way too long before you can get away from them I'm going to have to find another game

Lately this Brainium Sudoku app has ads that force the user to first watch the ad - which remains on-screen until the user clicks an arrow or something - then visit the Google Play Store, and then click something else to return to the Sudoku app in order to play each game board. I understand the developer's desire for compensation for their work can require ads on free apps, but this kind of extended and controlling advertising is a little too much for me.

Edit: Used for years, update broke it. Animations glitch, ads go straight to game instead of waiting for you to get ready, and some ads go minutes before giving click to next buttons. Old: Option to use number-first typing, although I wish you could just tap numbers to select that. Options to auto clear obvious notes or fill obvious squares for speed. Educational hints if you want them. Bells and whistles if you want them. Levels done fairly well. Hardly anything more to want.
